The renovation and expansion of Lind Hall (building in upper right of rendering on left) was completed in the summer of 2004 as the implementation of the third phase of the Oxford Academy Master Plan. The first two phases of this Master Plan included improvements to the quadrangle site amenities and the renovation and expansion of the school's academic building, Knight Hall. In the Lind Hall project, the design/build team of Smith Edwards Architects and Enterprise Builders was able to meet the school's tight budget and confined schedule. (The project needed to be completed in the ten-week summer vacation period.) The dormitory portion of the building was renovated, while the head end of the building, formerly containing three small faculty flats, was demolished. Four large duplex faculty units were built on the existing footprint in this location. The new units are large and sunny three-bedroom units, and feature such amenities as fireplaces, private patios, study/tutoring rooms, and plenty of storage.
